Christmas and Such...

Life is good in the Roggia house. We had a wonderful
Christmas and have been enjoying our time together
while Adam isn't so busy with homework and all that
jazz. Ellie is great and keeps us smiling all the time!

Her Nike hats are still a little big for her, but she just
looked so cute in this picture to me!

Unfortunately, Ellie does have a pretty bad cold this weekend.
You can see her glossy and somewhat puffy eyes in this
picture. I got about 2 hours of sleep last night, spending all
my energy rocking her to sleep since it was the only way she
could really breathe... poor girl. I think she's a little better
tonight... she's in bed at least.

This is her new Jumperoo from her G-ma and G-pa Garner!
She is still a little small to reach the ground and truly enjoy it,
but she seems to like looking at all the bright toys on it.

This was her watching the toy get put together.

Christmas isn't Christmas without some nice kitchen gifts from
my momma. She's too good to us!

Adam gave my stocking a baking theme with these cute
little mini-bags of flour and stuff. I loved it!

Nascar is never forgotten at our Holiday events.

Ellie showing some gifts... a book and cute hoodie.

The adorable coat from her Grandma Garner...
we just pray she'll be big enough to wear it a little!

Our stockpile Christmas morning... we were very
blessed by many loved ones.

This picture didn't come out very well. But I had to thank
Adam for my offset spatula that I had been wanting sooooo
bad! (I'm a nerd, I know). I made this yummy Swedish Nut Cake
for Christmas Eve and loved how easy it was to frost with
my new favorite tool!

Ellie's cute sweater.... purple is a good color for her.

Playing with Daddy.

Adam decided to model Ellie's new hat for her.

Then she tried it too. Thanks Aunt Joy!

Sitting calmly with Santa. I wonder what she asked for.

We love how car rides often help her sleep...
especially if we let her listen to Miranda Lambert
who is her clear favorite.

She helped me do some laundry early in the week.

This is us relaxing at home after walking 3 miles
together at the indoor track while Adam was running.
Ellie seems to enjoy the ride.

We've been developing her climbing skills. She also sits pretty
well sometimes. She sat up on her own on my legs for almost
20 seconds this week. She's always been very strong.

Tummy Time.... she doesn't hate it anymore!

Looking cute.

All wrapped up after bath time.

3 Months Old!

Ellie is 3 months old! She has been finding her voice
more and more... as if she needed to develop it any
further. :) She yells and squeaks and squeals and laughs
and keeps us very entertained. She still always sleeps
through the night, thanks to Paula's swaddling tips.
She loves her ducky toy, and so do we, as it gives us little
chunks of time to get things done while she plays.

This was Ellie's first outfit ever... her Grandma Garner
bought it the week I found out I was pregnant... I
guess we're lucky we had a girl to wear it. It's
such a cute dress... and she got many compliments
at church today.

Ellie's favorite toy.

I know there are a lot of these pictures... but I was
just so excited to get good shots of her smiling while
we were in good lighting without the flash to stun the
smile off of her little face. She was laughing and smiling
like crazy that afternoon.

Her cute Bolivian shirt.

Just chillin....

Playing with another toy. She likes to reach for this one
and try to grab it by the little color tabs... a good challenge.

Being silly.

Ditto.

Laughing at Daddy. She's always SUPER excited when he
gets home. She just hears him talk, and immediately smiles
and turns right over to wherever he is.

Ellie will be 3 months old this coming Thursday. Hard to
believe it. She's doing great. She has started grabbing toys
and pulling them to her mouth for a taste. She loves music...
she was always happy in church and choir when the songs were
going. She's always happy and laughing when we sing to
her. That, and also when her Dad holds her over his
head. We think she likes the view from up top.

Maybe it's bad that she's just watching tv with Dad?
Either way, she looked cute with the remote, watching
whatever was on.

Watching and grabbing for toys.

And of course tasting them.

Just laying out on Dad's lap. She just sprawled out and
stayed there for a while, quite content.

Playing around.

This is just one of those that makes me laugh.
Plus, you can see her pretty brown eyes if you
make the picture nice and big.

Laughing and relaxing.

Visitors and Hands

Ellie got to spend lots of time with family this past week.
She enjoyed being with her Grandma Roggia, and all
her cousins of course. She even had a webcam meeting
with her adorable cousin Roman. It was fun to see him!

Partying with everyone.

Watching tv, while modeling her new outfit from
Grandma and Grandpa Roggia.... too cute!

I sat her in Adam's hood for a little bit to give my
arms a rest. She seemed comfortable enough.

p.s.-It feels wrong sometimes to put those U of Utah
socks on her (Thanks, Lynette, Chris, and Addie!),
but they're one of like 2 pairs that will actually
stay on those feet!

Playing with Grandma again, but obviously not happy about
having her picture taken...

The "Earn Your Turkey" 4 mile race on Thanksgiving morning.

Adam did awesome, finished 7th in his group with great time!

Then he went back to finish with his mom and sister Joy.

Then he celebrated with Ellie!

Even Brianna got to join the race!

Ellie did fall asleep before Adam finished... we woke
up very early that rainy morning to stand in the cold
and watch her dad race, but it was fun. I even won a
turkey because it was my birthday!

Ellie always seems to be in funny positions with Adam.

Modeling my brithday gifts... musicals, pretty shoes,
a purse, and some kitchen scissors... quite the girly
collection... I loved it!

Sorting the mail with Dad...
Ellie has discovered her hands in the last couple
of weeks. She loves to play with them and taste them.

We call this her "Evil Plans" or "Mr. Burns" picture.
(The preflash thing on our camera sometimes makes her
eyes get all big like that before it takes the picture; it was
just a funnier outcome this time!)

Hands, Hands...

and mmmm.... hands.

Yay for meeting more cousins. We had a lot of fun
with Eph, Heather, and the boys. They even took us
to lunch to celebrate my birthday a couple of days
early. We're glad we got to see them! We got some cute
pictures of Ellie and Ezra. I love how her arm is draped
over his leg. They just sat there so calmly.

Ellie with the boys... Uncle Eph, Ezra, and Max!
