So rather than attempting to "catch up"on this blog, I am just posting to let people know we are still alive and kicking. Here's a glimpse of some recent moments for the Roggia Family in VA:
Adam is enjoying work as a PT and sometimes comes home for lunch, which makes the kids and me super happy, as shown by James, above.
James is a sweet boy, and we adore him.
Ellie always likes to pose with props of some kind. Here we have a flag and a princess toy as she waits to cheer Daddy on at the Columbia, SC marathon last month.
He had an awesome race and will be making his Boston Marathon debut on Monday. We are so proud of him and wish we could go there an cheer him on... but that's a little too far on the impractical side of things for our liking. So we will watch on TV and track his progress!
Ellie and Seth are so big and so smart. And they play pretty well together. Anything involving the alphabet keeps Seth happy, and Ellie loves to teach and help.
James is 6 months old as of tomorrow, and sooooo cute!
He's just a little guy... only in the 3rd percentile for weight. But we love his cute little blue-eyed face.
Seth says "cheese" for pictures now, which is awesome.
Ellie is always taking care of her bros, and can make James laugh like crazy! He adores her!
It is always a dog pile in the evenings when Daddy is home.
G-mom came to see us for Easter! So we took some pics after church which everyone was still dressed up. These kids LOVE them some G-mom!
And we are so happy to have Jake living here in Buena Vista! The kids always call him and ask him to come over... James is a big fan of his dancing too.
The whole family. A rare site in picture form. Hard to believe we have 3 crazy kids already, but then again, it's not.
We pretty much love each other.
And we are a perfect blend of crazy.
Jake's lady friend, Jackie, who we claim as are own now (with or without Jake). She's pretty much awesome, and we love having her around!
And these two are always a show together.
A really wacky show, that is.
She never lets me fix her hair, so she wanted a picture when she finally let me do a simple ponytail. So cute.
Again, always dressing for something and posing.
Awake from a nap, but still mostly swaddled.
Stretching out... much better.
He's adorable. It's true.
He always makes us smile.
I know the lighting is terrible, but this is SUCH a classic Ellie face, that it had to be posted. This is pure, unadulterated Ellie, right here... "Duh, Mom".
More cuteness.
Trying some baby cereal for the first time.
So there, we are all still here. Sorry for the almost 6 months of nothingness on here. But we are healthy, we are happy, and we are loving our little family life here in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I am quickly growing attached to small town life, it's true. Simplicity is wonderful.
